DOULEUTARAS & YOURPRO
MARKETING DESIGN
The "Back to routine" campaign for Douleutaras in Greece and YourPro in Ireland. Hero imagery generated with AI and art-directed by me.
As Communications Designer at Douleutaras since November 2024, I design across every channel the marketing team uses: email, social media, ads, landing pages and presentations, as well as ad hoc print, from stickers on our pros' vans to large-format posters at bus stops in central Athens. Douleutaras connects customers with tradespeople in Greece and Cyprus, and in Ireland under the name YourPro. Every booking asks a customer to let a stranger into their home, so my main goal has been to design communications that build trust. I work closely with the marketing team to turn each brief into clear, engaging and consistent visuals.
By keeping every channel consistent, from the inbox to the bus stop, my work has helped present Douleutaras as a trusted and recognisable brand, with jobs posted through our newsletters up 86% since I took them over.
The 2024 newsletter layout before I joined (left) and the new system I designed (right).
When I took over the newsletter in January 2025, it relied on stock photography and a simple list of offers. I redesigned it around real pros in the brand's blue T-shirt, a clear headline and deadline, and offer cards that show the original and discounted price at a glance. The aim was to make every newsletter feel unmistakably Douleutaras and to help readers decide within the first scroll.
Modules from the current system: a before-and-after feature story, a pro introduction with rating and completed jobs, and an offer block with its coupon code.
We now send around twelve newsletters a month, more than 120 so far. To keep this pace without lowering quality, I built the layout as a modular system of hero, feature stories, pro introductions and offer blocks that can be combined for each campaign.
The results show in the numbers. Comparing January to September each year, the average number of jobs posted through our newsletters grew from around 430 a month in 2024, before I joined, to around 630 in 2025 and around 800 in 2026, an increase of 86%.
AI is part of my everyday workflow. I use ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to generate and edit imagery and to develop copy, which lets me explore more ideas and deliver campaigns faster. I stay in control of what ships: every generated image is art-directed, checked and retouched so it stays on brand.
The September 2026 layout refresh, introducing the new events category. Imagery generated with AI and art-directed by me.
The system keeps evolving with the business. The September 2026 refresh launched a new events category, including DJ, sound equipment, catering and bar services, with a set of occasion icons and service buttons designed so future categories can be added easily.
Landing page for Douleutaras Plus, designed and built with Claude Design and Claude Code. Launching soon.
For Douleutaras Plus, a new subscription service we're preparing to launch, I designed and built the landing page myself. I used Claude Design to explore the layout and Claude Code to turn it into a working page, taking it from idea to a working build without waiting on development.
"Meet the Pros" and "Reviews" posts for Douleutaras in Athens and YourPro in Dublin.
To promote our pros, I designed a system to introduce them and showcase their reviews. Each post shows the pro's name, trade, rating and number of completed jobs inside a signature yellow frame, used consistently across Greek and English channels. Putting a real face and a real rating on every service has become central to building trust in the brand.
A selection of social media posts covering offers, payment options, pro introductions and reviews.
On social media I design a wide range of content, from offers, discount codes and payment options like Klarna to posts introducing our pros and their reviews. I also design our paid ads, and comparing January to September, jobs posted through paid ads rose from around 445 a month in 2025 to around 570 in 2026, an increase of 28%.
Douleutaras × Dogs' Voice, 2025. Photography: Olga Amiridou, The Dog Project.
In 2025 I proposed and led a CSR campaign in partnership with Dogs' Voice, a shelter for dogs looking for a family. I developed the concept, worked directly with the shelter, commissioned photographer Olga Amiridou from The Dog Project and art-directed the shoot, photographing our pros with the shelter's dogs. The campaign carried one simple message: "You give a dog a home. We take care of yours."
Our 2025 outdoor campaign at bus stops in central Athens.
For our 2025 outdoor campaign, the marketing team's brief was to make our pros relatable. The posters use humour: our pros may not be the best at everything, but they're the best at the job you need done. I kept the design simple for a quick read from the street, with one highlighted word, the pro's photograph and a QR code to download the app.
Print is a smaller but important part of my work, carrying the same system from screen to street. For our best-rated pros, I designed Top Pro van graphics and stickers built around the yellow frame from our social posts. The stickers include a QR code, so customers can book that pro in a single scan. For our full-page ad in Startupper magazine, I turned the app's payment screen into the centrepiece to promote paying by card, in three interest-free Klarna instalments, or in cash.
I also designed the App Store preview screens for both the Douleutaras and YourPro apps. Each screen answers a question a new customer might have, from finding the right professional and paying safely online to our money-back guarantee and rebooking a favourite pro.
